Words from its CEO & Founder...

 

My name is Armelle and I am an immigrant. Actually I am more than that. I am a proud immigrant who loves and respect both my countries. The U.S. gave me opportunities that I never found in my birth place. My birth country, France, gave me my style and ma "Joie de Vivre". Without both nations, and all the extensive traveling around the world I did in between, I wouldn't be who I am today.

SUPER IMMIGRANT is my contribution to the lives of other fellows immigrants around the world. I know how it feels. I know what it takes. Leaving politics and activism to other organizations that handle it quite well, I wondered how we could bring back lightness and awareness to a quite heavy topic.

​

That is how the brand SUPER IMMIGRANT was created. Our custom products, from apparel to accessories, shine the light on the great people, known and unknown, who made the world they came in simply greater!

​

It's an hymn to being a great human being, no matter where you live, no matter where you come from.

​

Being universal is far greater than being confined in a box.

The greater VISION:

To share with you my vision behind the brand Super Immigrant, I’d like to include words and quotations from great personalities who have influenced me during the six months before our launch. They are: Halla Tómasdóttir, CEO of The B Team and 2016 candidate for the Presidency of Iceland - Carole Cadwalladr, British author and investigative journalist - Hamdi Ulukaya, CEO of Chobani – and x.

 

The evidence is overwhelming that the world needs us to change our ways. Democracy is not guaranteed. The playbook that guided businesses and politicians for the past 40 years is broken.

While most politicians and medias focus on the disastrous effects on many of human’s poor behaviors, Super Immigrant, wishes to shine the light on all the great people who are moving our world forward. Some are well-known, some work in the dim, but they are all equally essential to the well-being of our present and future.

Super Immigrant is the brand for all human beings that believe in making an impact on our world for the better, no matter where they live and where they come from, with their heart, emotional intelligence, strength of character, human spirit, talents and constructive work.

Nowadays, it is people and businesses, not governments, that are in the best position to make a change. It’s up to us – you, me and all of us. We are the ones who have to take back control.

Kofi Annan used to say, “You’re never too young to lead or too old to learn.” There is a leader in every single one of us, and our most important mission in life is to release that leader and greatness within us. Don’t ever think you do not have power because you do not sit in a position of power.

​

All of us need to think “What I am doing? How I am contributing?” and we need to start making the positive impact this world is calling for right now.

​

Today, we need holistic courageous and noble leaders, yet they have to be humble, and they have to be guided by a moral compass, having a social purpose that contributes to society, and a commitment to sustainability, equality and accountability. We can no longer care only for profits and economic growth alone but check our impact on people and the planet as well.

 

The new way of life, communities. Go search for communities you can be part of. And be with them. Open the walls and succeed together.

Today Super Immigrant is investing in its community of great citizens of the world. We need to lead by example for the next generations, our children and grandchildren.
