We respect others and we respect ourselves. We are a quiet force. We let go of insults, stupidity, and ignorance and do not react.

We are not weak. We are firm. And we chose to respond in a peaceful and respectful way to negative people and situations in our lives. We win with our brain, our resilience, and the power of our connections.

We are loyal to "both" our culture of origin and the new land which welcomed us.

We are not perfect, and we do not pretend to be. We are hard workers, always reaching for ways to improve and level up. We get shit done and we get it done well. Persistent, we knock down walls, exceed expectations, and honor ourselves, our countries of origin, and our new homes.

We are grateful for each other, and to be part of this family. We are grateful for the new land which welcomed us and for the opportunity to better our lives and our future.

We do not take our visas and passports for granted. We are so grateful that we learn the language and habits of our new country, while preserving our identity.
